This professional model Howarth oboe was made in 2012. It is incredibly resonant and powerful. This oboe can truly soar above the orchestra yet retains the nuanced and subtle character to make even pppp passages feel vibrant. The newly designed keywork gives clean, quick, quiet action.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you. This instrument is a perfect upgrade for someone entering college or pursuing a professional career.
Condition:
Body: The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition.
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in excellent condition. Clean, oiled, and fully adjusted. All pads and bumpers are in excellent condition.

The original hard shell case and fitted, shearling lined cover with shoulder strap are in excellent condition. The left side case cover zipper is missing the zipper pull.
