Description
This classic C model Loree was made in 1974. It has had a single owner since the 1990s and has not been played much at all.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you.
Condition:
Body: The grenadilla wood body is in very good, expected condition. There is a pinned crack in the top joint that is not near any tone holes. It was repaired prior to 1977 and has remained stable all these years. It was professionally repaired as shown in the close up photo.
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. There is average wear with no loss of plating.

Case:
The Loree lozenge hard shell case is in worn but solid condition. The shearling lined, Cavallaro case cover appears to be almost new.
