Description
The “B” series is revered for its dark, sonorous tone and ease of playing and this one is an excellent example. It was made in 1966 and kept in performance condition.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you. This instrument has the character and flexibility to be a great performance and solo horn.
Condition:
Body: The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. There was a very small crack at the top of the bell, repaired long ago as seen in the photos.
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. There is average, expected wear. Some pads and bumpers are new.

Bocal
The Hiniker 1 -12.5 bocal is in very good condition in silver.
Case:
The double case by ProTec has wear, but is in very solid condition.
