This Fox professional line oboe is a one owner instrument made in 2014. This oboe features Fox’s original bore and tone hole design and features all the full conservatory, full plateau keywork. The model 400 is known for its sweet sound, stability, and intonation.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition with no cracks.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in excellent condition. It has some minor tarnish and excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features a 3rd octave key, left-hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, banana key, and both trill keys.
The original Fox pro hard shell case and fitted cloth cover are in excellent condition. The original 3 reed case, grease cup, and tenon caps are included.
