Description
The Fox 400 is an all-grenadilla wood model from their pro line. This one was made in 2007 and kept in great condition. It’s a sweet-sounding instrument with great stability and solid intonation.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play. This is a great upgrade instrument for an advancing or advanced player.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. There are no cracks.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, excellent condition. It has excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features a 3rd octave key, left-hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, banana key, and both trill keys.
The original hard shell case is in very good condition with small dents and some wear on the exterior as would be expected. The Fox cloth cover is in excellent condition with a small tear on one of the main cloth handles.
