Description
This AK model Loree oboe was made in 1990. The lyrical tone of the AK model is very present here. The “AK” model indicates a slight difference in the bore of the bell, which is said to create a slightly lighter, and more lively tone.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play. This will be a fine doublers instrument or a great choice to take someone into college or community orchestra.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean and excellent condition. It has just been oiled and hand-polished.
This AK model oboe features a 3rd octave key, left-hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, banana key, and both trill keys.
A brand new ProTex Max integral case in black is included.
