Temporary Pause on Instrument Trials and Sales
November 2025 – Mid-January 2026
We are temporarily unable to send instruments for trial or purchase while we move our entire shop from New Hampshire to Kingston, New York, just north of New York City. We apologize for the delay in service during this transition.

This classic grenadilla Laubin oboe was made in 1987. It has that dark, warm, centered tone we have all come to expect and enjoy. Excellent intonation throughout the octaves. It’s been played professionally, and professionally maintained for years.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you. A great instrument for a professional or advanced enthusiast.
Condition:
Body: The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition with no cracks and fewer than average signs of use.
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in very clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition.
