This classic C model Loree oboe was made in 2000 and has been a one-owner oboe since it was purchased new from noted repairman John Symer. It has a sweet dark tone with great consistency throughout the range and excellent intonation.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. There was a crack in the top joint which was repaired by Mr. Symer and is nearly impossible to locate.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, and excellent condition. It has some new pads and excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features left-hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, banana key, and both trill keys.
The original Loree lozenge style hard shell case is in excellent condition.
