Description
This fine pro level Rigoutat oboe was made in 1994 and plays with ease. The tone is warm, dark, and uniform throughout, and the intonation is excellent.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready for performance. It will be play-tested and adjusted again right before it goes out on trial. This is a pro oboe that would also make an excellent upgrade for an advancing player.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition with no cracks and very limited signs of use.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, excellent condition. It has excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features a third octave key, left-hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, banana key, and both trill keys.
The original Rigoutat lozenge style hard shell case is in excellent condition.
