Description

This Mozart era classical bassoon by Guntram Wolf is pitched at A=430. It’s a classic made after Heinrich Grenser’s renowned instruments, sometimes referred to as the “Dresdener bassoon”. The serial number is 295.

It’s a one-owner instrument made in 2007. It has been used in professional situations and kept in excellent condition throughout its life.

Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this bassoon here in our shop. It’s ready to play in every way.

The gorgeous, special flamed mountain maple wood body is in near-mint condition with very limited signs of use.

The brass 10-key system with a low Eb key is in excellent condition and has just been cleaned and oiled. Beautiful patination on the keys.

Four brass bocals are included. Each is an M10 brass Wolf bocal. D2/317, D2/320, D2/322, and D2/324 are in excellent condition with classic patination.

The Altieri oval gig bag case with a shoulder strap and hideaway backpack straps is in excellent condition. 3 handmade reeds are included.
