Description
This grenadilla wood upper-intermediate level oboe from Yamaha was made in 2004. It has a luxurious and stable tone, with great ease of playing.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready for performance.
The body is all grenadilla wood body and is in excellent condition. The upper joint has an inner protective layer of resin to resist cracking while also stabilizing the bore which adds consistency and durability.
The modified conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, excellent condition. It has excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features left-hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, and both trill keys.
The Yamaha hard shell lozenge style case and fitted cover are in excellent condition.
