This classic upper intermediate level oboe was made in France in the 1960’s. It has a warm, dark tone and very good intonation.
This oboe was overhauled and extensively voiced by esteemed oboe tech David Teitelbaum in May 2020.
Brian Charles play-tested and adjusted this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play in every way. This is a great upgrade for an advancing oboist and will be a solid choice for a community orchestra player.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. There was a small top joint surface crack. It was professionally repaired long ago and has been stable for decades.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver keywork system is in clean and excellent condition. There are a few new pads and excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features left hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, banana key, and both trill keys.
The case is a dark blue, sleek and compact Protec Microzip in near-mint condition
